NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Sponsor

The Be a Guest Star giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Mint Media LLC, 410 Monmouth Ave, Suite 403, Lakewood, NJ 08701 ("Sponsor", "we", "us"), maker of Yidly and The Gadget Guy.

2. Who can enter

  • The Giveaway is for children who are 5 to 14 years old on the day they are entered ("Entrant"). The Giveaway is open worldwide, except where prohibited by local law.
  • Each Entrant must be entered by their parent or legal guardian, who must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where they live if that is higher ("Parent"). Children may not enter themselves.
  • Children of employees of Sponsor, and members of their households, are not eligible.

3. How to enter

  • A Parent fills in the entry form at yidly.co/guest-star. Entering is free.
  • One entry per child. Additional entries for the same child are not accepted. Entries made by automated means, or with false information, are void.
  • No photos are needed to enter.

4. Ongoing drawings

  • The Giveaway is ongoing. For each new episode of The Gadget Guy that includes a guest star, Sponsor will hold a random drawing from all eligible entries received before the drawing.
  • An entry stays in every drawing for 12 months from the day it was received, then it is deleted. A Parent may enter the child again after that.
  • A child who has won is not included in later drawings.
  • Sponsor decides the timing of each drawing and how many episodes are made, and does not promise any particular number of episodes or drawings.

5. Odds

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries in each drawing.

6. The prize

  • Each winner's prize is an appearance as an AI-generated character, based on the child's likeness, in an episode of The Gadget Guy. The size, length and content of the appearance are up to Sponsor.
  • The prize has no cash value (approximate retail value: $0). It cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash, or swapped for another prize. No travel is involved.

7. Winner notification and release

  • We will contact the winner's Parent by email, using the address on the entry form.
  • Before the prize is awarded, Sponsor will confirm the winner's eligibility, including their age.
  • To claim the prize, the Parent must reply within 7 days, then sign a likeness and AI release for the child, and send a few photos of the child that we request.
  • If the Parent does not reply in time, cannot be reached, does not sign the release, or the Entrant is found not to be eligible, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner drawn.
  • Photos are used only to create the child's AI-generated likeness for the episode, as described in the release and our privacy policy.

8. Use of the winner's name and likeness

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize the Parent agrees that Sponsor may use the winning child's first name, state, and AI-generated likeness in the episode and in related promotion, without further payment. The signed release describes this in full and controls if it is different.

9. General conditions

  • Sponsor may disqualify any entry that does not follow these rules, and may cancel, suspend or change the Giveaway if fraud, technical problems or anything else beyond its control affects how it runs. Any change to these rules will be posted on this page.
  • Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, incomplete or not received because of technical problems.
  • To the extent allowed by law, by entering the Parent agrees to release Sponsor from claims arising out of the Giveaway or the prize, except for Sponsor's own negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Sponsor's decisions about the Giveaway are final.

10. Privacy

Information you give us is used to run the Giveaway and as described in our privacy policy. Entering the Giveaway does not sign you up for any emails.

11. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

12. Winners list

For the first name and state of the winner of a drawing, email info@yidly.co within 60 days of that drawing.
